In fact, mixing protein and carbs often improves digestion and blood sugar stability — protein slows carb absorption, preventing energy crashes.

Unless you have a specific gut condition or notice personal discomfort with certain combinations, there’s no need to separate protein and carbs. For muscle growth, fat loss, and recovery, combining protein + carbs + veggies in one meal is actually ideal.
